Program:

All of our courses are serious, effective and interactive. You will not only learn Spanish and Costa Rican culture at our classrooms, but also at the accommodation you choose, either a Host Family or at the Kalexma Bed and Breakfast.

Conversation:

Time to give out homework and oral exercises to practice what was tought in class.
From years of experience, we have noticed that the most difficult stage for students is to communicate. For this reason we FOCUS on oral expression of each and every student through defined exercises, which help students lose, step by- step the fear of speaking Spanish.

Seasonal Schedule

Costa Rica presents two main seasons: Dry Season and Rainy Season.
  • Dry Season: starts in November and ends in April. Our lessons are scheduled regularly from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. (noon)
  • Rainy Season: starts in May and ends in October. The characteristic of the Rainy Season is that it starts raining almost everyday after lunch time, between 12 and 2 p.m. So be prepared and bring your rain coats and umbrella. During Rainy Season, we schedule our lessons in the afternoon from 1 to 5 p.m., in order for students to visit the touristic sites in the morning, when it is sunny, and take classes in the afternoon when it starts raining.
